Feathers can either be presented on a base suspended by grasses or mounted and ready to frame in a shadow box.

TUPELO WOOD

Tupelo wood can be quite strong, especially when the grain direction is parallel to the feather length. The feathers are carved paper-thin to enhance realism.

ANY FEATHER CAN BE MADE TO ORDER

Blue jay, northern flicker, red tail hawk, pheasant tail...you name it!

Each base is made of locally sourced wood. Burled walnut, live-edge butternut or oak are typically used for the bases and often the woodgrain is just as beautiful as the feather.
